Dear Students,
I hope you enjoyed our full day of on-line learning today. Mr. D did. I was impressed with how well our students are learning to use the "Mute" buttons for sound and video (when necessary) to make our class run smoothly. Here are some things to remember:
Spirit Day: Wear your den colours tomorrow. (If you can't remember if you are in the Red Den or Black Den, you can wear a mix of both colours if you would like.
Words of the Week: We will continue learning and practising our Words of the Week. You can start by copying them in your agenda or on a piece of paper. This week's words are Long O.
Sharing: On Friday afternoon, you can share and talk briefly about something special to you. It could be a toy, stuffie, piece of art, a pet, a new Christmas toy etc. Please make sure it is something that would be appropriate for school. If you are not sure, please ask!
Expectations: We are doing well with most of the rules for Google Meet. A reminder that we should be sitting up at a desk that is in a public common area in your house such as the Living Room, Dining Room, Office or kitchen. Please look over the expectations from yesterday's post.
Let's Go Canada! Your team cheer for our Canadian Junior Hockey team today was awesome! Let's hope they can win the gold medal again this year. I know tonight's game is late, so I promised you that tomorrow I will show you a couple of highlights from the game.
Have a wonderful evening Grade 2s and 3s!
Regards,
Mr. D
PS. Trivia: Do you know some famous Canadian NHL hockey players who once played for Junior Team Canada? I know some names.Let me know tomorrow!
